St. Augustine Prep Elves Bring Christmas Cheer to Children at Holy Name School in Camden

Posted December 19th, 2015

A group of administrators, faculty and staff from the Prep recently delivered more than 700 Christmas toys to Holy Name School in Camden.  For many years St. Augustine has adopted Holy Name School to be our little brothers and sisters.  Younger students have visited our school numerous times for Halloween and Easter parties.  Sophomore students have volunteered to assist the students during their “Metanoia Week” retreat for 24 years.

In an email sent to St. Augustine Prep, Ms. Patricia Quinter, the principal, said, ” I cannot believe they all got a gift and very nice ones indeed.  Please let the students know we are most grateful for this special surprise.”

Holy Name School is one of the most needy schools in the diocese.  We are truly grateful to all those who opened their hearts to help these little ones have a joyous Christmas.
