Posted November 27th, 2011

On Saturday, November 26, six people were inducted into the prestigious St. Augustine Preparatory School Hall of Fame during a ceremony at the Tropicana Casino and Resort in Atlantic City.  Established by Father Stephen LaRosa, O.S.A. and Athletic Director Paul Rodio in 1996, the Hall of Fame recognizes alumni for exemplary achievements.  The award is presented each year to those who have brought recognition to the school through their outstanding achievements in their professions, or through service to the school and their communities.

This year’s Cultural Award recipients are Samuel Fiocchi, Class of 1970, and Thomas Merighi, Class of 1984.  Les Heggan is this year’s Hermit Pride Award inductee.  Athletic Award honorees include William Ward, Class of 1985, Robert Hennessy, Class of 1992, and Michael Moffa, Class of 1996.
