St. Augustine Prep Welcomes Br. Bob Thornton

After the weekly school Mass on Wednesday, March 14, Fr. Reilly introduced Br. Robert Thornton, OSA, Psy. D., to the student and faculty bodies. Br. Bob is a clinical psychologist who will work in coordination with our guidance department as a member of our counseling staff.

Br. Bob received his masters degree in social work from Columbia University and went on to earn a doctoral degree in psychology from Widener University. He has worked in private practice serving individuals, families, and groups. In recent years, his work for the Augustinian Order has focused on the prevention of sexual abuse.

The addition of Br. Bob to the guidance department demonstrates a commitment to the psychological well-being of our students. Br. Bob can be reached via email at Br.Bob@hermits.com.
