St. Augustine Preparatory School hosts 10th Student Augustinian Values Institute

Posted April 9th, 2019

This year, St. Augustine Preparatory School had the privilege to host the tenth Student Augustinian Values Institute, (SAVI). SAVI was created in 2010 to help students understand the meaning and reasons behind the Augustinian vision. In addition, it allows students to see, explore, and apply the Augustinian core values of Veritas, Unitas, and Caritas. while also developing enthusiasm, dedication and a common purpose amongst the Augustinian schools.

Eight St. Augustine Prep students participated in their first SAVI this past weekend. Cole Bennett (’20), Joseph Colon (’20), Angelo Fedora (’20), Matthew Gandy (’20), Ethan Infranco (’20), Keshav Mather (’21), Chris Medolla (’20) and Chris Vandenberg (’20).

Over 50 students represented the eight Augustinian schools for the three-day experience of faith, friendship, and service. The time spent together helped the students to find ways to live and promote the core Augustinian values.

Each year the students are tasked with creating a video to show off their school’s facilities, students and faith. This year’s SAVI video can be found HERE
