Student Spotlight: Matthew Sutter ’16
Posted December 1st, 2015
Matthew Sutter is our Student Spotlight this week. Here he explains what the “Hermit Brotherhood” has meant to him:
It is hard for me to put into words how much of an impact the past four years at St. Augustine has made on my life. The memories and friendships I have created here are incomparable to anything that I have ever been a part of. Every experience has helped me discover more about myself. Without a doubt, the Prep has given me the character and the discipline to succeed now and in the future.
Throughout my time here, I have developed the values of truth, unity and love. The Prep has instilled in me these strong values and has stressed the importance of giving to others and helping people in need. It has taught me to strive for excellence and to never give up on the journey to achieve it. The school spirit and Brotherhood at St. Augustine have created an atmosphere where everyone has a “place at the table.”
Most importantly, I would like to thank the faculty and administration for their tireless dedication in guiding me throughout my time here. I have been blessed to attend a school that has provided me with a great education and the opportunity to excel in every way. I plan to take all that this amazing school has given to me and show the rest of the world what hermit pride is all about. Once a Hermit, always a Hermit! Go Prep!
