Student Team Managers Needed for Fall Sports

The Communications Department has partnered with Athletics to create a new role for students at St. Augustine Prep: Student Sports Information Directors (SID). The students who apply for these positions will be asked to do more than what a typical student team manager is asked to do. In addition to attending practices, keeping statistics, and assisting the coaching staff with film, the Student Sports Information Directors will have moderated access to the Prep’s @PrepAthletics Twitter. Under the supervision of the Director of Communications, the SID can submit scores and updates on behalf of their respective teams through this Twitter account.

Students can apply for the Fall sports SID positions by emailing the Director of Communications at Mr.Smith@hermits.com. Applications will be accepted beginning immediately. Appointments are limited by the number of teams per season.
