Students Experience Flight Simulation and More at the FAA Tech Center
Posted January 14th, 2016
On Thursday, January 7th, 22 members of the junior and senior classes who had expressed an interest in engineering, traveled to the FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center located at the Atlantic City Airport.
While at the center, the students toured various departments and spent time in an area of the FAA where engineers and computer programmers work on predicting flight patterns and technology 25 years in the future! They listed to presentations from Aeronautical, Electrical, Aerospace and Civil Engineers before having the opportunity to “fly” in a brand new state of the art flight simulator.
We would like to send a special thank you to Mr. Adam Greco who has been with the FAA for over 40 years and also to Prep father, Mr. Paul Biagi for their efforts in arranging this experience for our students. Thank you!
