Students Recognized for Model UN Conference Participation

Several St. Augustine Prep students were recognized for their exceptional work at the Model United Nations Conference at Moorestown High School on Saturday, February 4. Sam Swisher won “Best Position Paper” for his representation of Spain in the UNICEF (UN Children’s Fund) Committee on orphans and HIV/AIDS. Justin Richter, representing Uganda, won “Best Delegate” in the SOCHUM (Social, Cultural, and Humanitarian) Committee discussing gay rights as human rights. Colan Rodgers chaired the SPECPOL (Special Political and Decolonization) Committee and Sean Lawn served as the chair of the SOCHUM Committee.
