Students Show Support for the Family of Nikki Killenyi

On Thursday, April 19, the students and faculty of St. Augustine Prep dressed in purple to show their support for the family of 18 year old Nikki Killenyi, whose life was taken in a tragic car accident on Saturday, April 14. Senior Bill Manuella approached the administration on Wednesday and requested that students be allowed to dress down on Thursday with a $2 donation in her name. The students and faculty of the Prep raised over $1100 from the dress down day, all of which has been donated to the Killenyi family. In the wake of this unspeakable tragedy, our community is comforted by the generosity and love that is evident in the Augustinian value of caritas.
