Posted December 13th, 2013

Dan Sheehan graduated from Harvard’s Reserve Officer Training Corps program and was commissioned an officer in the Navy shortly thereafter.  During his tour on duty in Vietnam, he flew low-level combat missions in support of ground forces in the Mekong Delta in 1968 and 1969. Since retiring from a full career in the Navy, Mr. Sheehan has spoken to high school students around the country on his experiences in Vietnam. On Thursday, December 12, he visited St. Augustine Prep and spoke to the students in Mr. Blystone’s U.S. History and Modern Conflicts courses.
