St. Augustine Prom

St. Augustine Prom

The Junior/Senior Prom will be held at the Carriage House in Galloway Township! The event will take place on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, from 6:00 pm to 10:30 pm. Dress is formal – tuxedos or a suit jacket and tie are welcome. The price is $225 per couple.

Juniors and seniors will have a half-day of school on the day of the Prom, on Tuesday, March 26. Dismissal will be at 12:15pm. In order to attend the Prom, you are required to attend school on the day of the event.

All other classes will have a full day of school that day, as scheduled.

Tuxedos and Transportation

Rudi’s Formals (located in Sewell, NJ) and Geiger’s Limousine have special Hermit pricing for our seniors.  Click below for more info on special Prep pricing from these two businesses.

Rudi’s Formals

Rudi’s Formal Wear will be in the dining hall fitting for Prom Tuxedos and Suits on Tuesday, March 5, Thursday, March 7 and Friday, March 8 during Community Time, and Junior/Senior Lunch.  

Please review the linked catalog with your son before these dates so he will be prepared if he chooses to be fitted at school.

Tuxedo and Suit rental prices, including the St. Augustine Prom discount, range from $125 to $208 depending on the style chosen.

Rental prices include jacket, pants, shirt, vest, tie/ bow tie, pocket square, shoes, and all alterations.

If you are not available to be measured during either of the in-school measuring days, students are welcome to visit either Rudi’s Formal Wear location.

Prom Update 3/15/24

A limited number of tickets will be sold. – Turn payment in online HERE (www.leagueapps.com) and have contracts (in a bundle of 5 for a complete table) to Mr. Sharp by Friday, March 15, 2024.

After Friday, March 15, juniors and seniors who wish to register for the Prom may do so through Friday, March 22. If registering after the first deadline of 3/15, please submit payment HERE, in the amount of $225 per couple; please do not bring checks for payment to our Business Office.

 

 

Prom Update 3/15/24

Juniors and Seniors,
Prom is less than two weeks away!
I wanted to reach out to you with an update regarding this year’s event.
As you are hopefully aware, the Student Life Office, with Father Murray’s support, has decided to again open this year’s Prom to singles as well as couples.  This is a major change to the attendance policy of our Prom, and we hope that it provides as many of our Hermits upperclassmen as possible with an opportunity to participate in the evening.

Please note that pricing for single Prom attendance is $112.50, and payment may NOT be made through League Apps. If you will be attending as a single, please deliver a check in the amount of $112.50 made payable to St. Augustine Preparatory School, to the Business Office in the Vincent Center.  If you will be attending with a date, please click here to register for Prom online.
