Transportation

St. Augustine Preparatory School enrolls students from all over southern New Jersey. Transportation is available for the majority of our students. The cost of transportation through the school is $1,850 for 2024-2025.

The State of New Jersey offers aid-in-lieu for students who live within a certain distance from the school (based on the county of residence). All information regarding our Voucher Program, including the order form, can be found at the bottom. Specific questions regarding transportation should be directed to Transportation@hermits.com.

Bus #1 – Arrives at St. Augustine Prep by 7:40 a.m.

  1. Rt. 30 (East Side) & Gramercy Ave – Atlantic City – 6:25 a.m.
  2. 17th and Ocean – Parking Lot  – Brigantine – 6:35 a.m
  3. Starns Shop Rite Rt. 30 (access road behind the building) – Absecon – 6:55 a.m.
  4. Pomona Shopping Center – Pomona – 7:05 a.m.
  5. Peach Avenue and Rt. 50 – Mays Landing – 7:15 a.m.
  6. Rt. 50 & Birch Ave – Mays Landing – 7:20 a.m.

  4. 310 Bellevue Ave. – Hammonton – 7:06 a.m. (Please note, this replaces the 7-11 and Jesus Ministries bus stop)

Transportation Voucher Program

Many students travel to campus by carpool, drive independently, or are dropped off by parents. We have a solution for when your carpool is unavailable to bring your son to campus or a car breaks down and driving to campus is not an option!

Voucher Guidelines:

  • 10 vouchers for $100 – sold in booklet form only – no single-ride sales
  • Vouchers are non-transferable and valid for the current school year
  • Vouchers are good for one way trip only
  • Number of vouchers sold based on the number of empty seats per bus
  • Driver to collect voucher when a student enters the bus
  • Parents must use an order form to purchase vouchers (available through the button below)
  • Payment must be included with the order form
  • Vouchers will be sold throughout the school year
  • Vouchers will be available in the Transportation Office in Augustinian Hall.
