Posted February 17th, 2012

Approval for AP Courses

The current juniors and sophomores who applied and were accepted for AP courses will be given a letter in school on Tuesday or Wednesday morning (February 21 or 22) notifying them of their acceptance. If a student was accepted into an AP course, he may choose to register for that course during his registration period. He is NOT required to take that course. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Kevin Burke (Mr.Burke@hermits.com or ext. 159).

Class of 2013 Course Registration

WE UPDATED THE SENIOR COURSE SELECTION SHEET. The updated sheet can be found by clicking here. We made some minor changes to the course offerings. Please note the addition of French I as an elective for seniors. We added some other courses too. Also we moved the Honors Civil War class into Period G.

Please review the Senior Course Selection Sheet with your son. We will begin registration for the current junior class on Wednesday, February 22. We will meet with the junior class to explain the process on Wednesday during Activities period. Registration will be done in groups. It is important that each student completes registration during his assigned time. We require that each student has a parent/guardian sign his schedule before he can submit it to Mr. Burke or Mrs. Pine for approval. Also each student must get signatures for his honor courses and a stamp of approval from the Guidance office before submitting his schedule to Mr. Burke or Mrs. Pine. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Mr. Burke (Mr.Burke@hermits.com or ext. 159) or Mr. Tom Coyle (Mr.Coyle@hermits.com or ext. 113).
