Alumni Spotlight: Andrew Moffa ’12

We are proud to announce that Andrew Moffa ’12, has been awarded a Fulbright Scholarship. A recent Villanova University graduate, Andrew received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications. While at Villanova, he studied abroad in Denmark in 2015 and participated in a summer program through the Department of Communication in Ghana in 2013. Andrew served as a facilitator for Villanova’s Freshman Leadership Program, mentored with the student organization LeVel, wrote for The Villanovan, and tutored at Cristo Rey High School in Philadelphia. He was a team manager for the Villanova Men’s Basketball Team from 2012-2014. Andrew also served as co-writer for the documentary In Transition: Tony Chennault, which was a finalist for a Student Academy Award. As a Fulbright ETA, he will teach English in South Korea. The Fulbright program is a prestigious international education exchange program sponsored by the United States government. This grant will allow Andrew to serve as an international cultural ambassador by teaching English in South Korea.
