Advent Giving Tree Gifts Due by December 15

Posted December 14th, 2011

We are a very generous, caring, and giving community by nature.  We are asking our families to join together and help the less fortunate this Christmas season.  There are a number of organizations which have asked for our help, including the MLK Daycare Centers in Camden and Sicklerville, Frank’s Place in Camden, and the National Honor Society of the Boy Scouts, called the Order of the Arrow, organized by freshman Cole Bloomer.

Our Giving Tree is now up in the Dining Hall; students and families are encouraged to take a tag and purchase a gift.

Initially, these are the gifts we are looking to have donated:

  1. Infant Gifts (board books with hard pages are suggested)
  2. Two Years Old (stacking or sorting shape toys, plush toys, or toys that make music are suggested)
  3. Three to Five Years Old (Boys – should be educational; No war toys or soldiers / Girls – should be educational; No stuffed animals)
  4. Six to Sixteen Years Old (boards games, educational toys and the like)

All gifts are to be brought to the main office in the Forum – they are to be wrapped with the tag taped on the wrapping.  Gifts are due by Thursday, December 15.

Hermits are always ready to help!
