Student Volunteers Recognized for VFW Service

John Kelleher, the Post Commander at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6332, sent a letter to Mr. Joseph Carmichael on January 12 thanking him for the volunteerism of his students.  Student representatives of the Jerseymen Club travelled to the Vineland Veterans Home on December 3, 2011 to spend time with the service men and women of the home. Three students in particular were highlighted in this letter: Vincent Silvanio, Frank Scavelli, and Conor Murphy, all members of the Class of 2013. Mr. Kelleher referred to the Prep students as “exemplars of good citizenship in the finest tradition of our Country.”
