Pixar Movie “Inside Out” Features Work by Prep Alum

The popular Pixar movie Inside Out has a St. Augustine Prep connection, as Collin Allen, a 2003 graduate, worked on the movie! Mrs. Bertonazzi, Mathematics and Computer Science teacher, remembers Collin making a mechanical butterfly during a class project. He also accompanied Mrs. Bertonazzi to Seattle for Third Semester Video Game Design at DigiPen and Nintendo. Projects and trips like these help to foster the interest and, like in Collin’s case, the career of our students. Look for Collin’s name under the Pixar University and Archives section of the movie’s credits.  Congratulations, Collin! We look forward to seeing more of your work on the big screen.
