Freshman Experience

Justin Tana: Time Flies

Posted January 5th, 2016

Four months. Four months is how long I have been at St. Augustine Preparatory School; however, it feels like four days. I cannot believe that it is already exam time. I can clearly remember the day when I wrote a paper on why I came to the Prep. Time has flown by so fast, and I can barely keep up. Midterms are next week and I am feeling very uneasy about them. This is mainly because this semester has passed so rapidly, and I don’t feel like I have been here long enough to have a midterm. I am quickly losing my mind. Yet deep down, I know the true reason why it feels like time has flown by.

There is a saying that time flies when you are having fun, and I completely agree. I really enjoy the Prep, and I hope this feeling continues. I have met great teachers and formed friendships with people I did not know before I came here. Although I am nervous about midterms, I truly know that I will be prepared. I have learned a lot, and the teachers have helped me greatly in times when I have been struggling. In reality, there is no need for me to fear. I have received the best education possible at the Prep.
