My Favorite Part of the Day-Liam Jarrett, Class of 2018

Posted March 24th, 2015

My favorite part of the day is the beginning of the day. The time of day when we just get off of the bus is so important because how social, productive, and delicious that time can be. The beginning of the day is enjoyable because of its social atmosphere. The students whose lockers are near mine are very friendly and are always making jokes. My classmates and I talk about many different things, including school and sports. The cafeteria is packed with students to socialize with. Along with the social aspect of the cafeteria, the period of time that we are given in the morning as a productive aspect to it. Students can study for quizzes or tests, finish any homework that they still have to do, or meet with teachers. Also, there is plenty of food in the cafeteria and the study commons for the students to enjoy. Whether we’re eating the breakfast sandwiches, bagels, cookies, or anything else, we are always satisfied and ready to go for our morning classes. The great atmosphere at the beginning of the day is important; it sets a good tone for the rest of the day– setting us up for success.
