Zachary Drexler: Up to the Challenge

Posted January 5th, 2016

While I consider most of my classes at the Prep to be very challenging, I would say the most challenging is literature. This is due to the amount of time and work I need to put in every day. At my previous school, literature class was just writing an essay every once in a while, reading a book in class, and eventually taking a test on it. My literature class now differs greatly. We read anywhere from two to three short stories a week, and usually at least four chapters of a book per week. Also, there is much more writing. Our tests are all essay questions. Although the class is challenging, that doesn’t mean I don’t like it.

I am always looking for a challenge, whether it be mental or physical, and this class is certainly a challenge. Though it may be tough now, I am only going to keep becoming stronger. I am definitely looking forward to continuing the year and making myself stronger mentally.
