ACT/SAT Practice Exams

Posted December 11th, 2012

The College Guidance Department is actively working on providing opportunities for our students to excel on the SATs and ACTs by offering two full-length practice exams next semester.

In conjunction with The Princeton Review, we will be administering, on campus, a practice ACT test to sophomores and juniors on February 23 at 8:45 a.m. The ACT is an alternative to the SAT and accepted by most colleges and universities. The Princeton Review will also hold a “Scores Back” Night on Tuesday March 19 to help decipher the results of the ACT test and identify problem areas.

The Princeton Review will also administer, on campus, a practice SAT to our sophomores on March 16 at 8:45 a.m. This will be an opportunity for students to experience a full-length SAT exam and receive a detailed score report furnished by Princeton Review on April 9.

Both of these practice exams will be administered at no cost to our students. Please consider taking advantage of these opportunities. To sign up please e-mail Mrs. Castelli mrs.castelli@hermits.com identifying the student’s name, grade and which test(s) he wishes to register for (juniors ACT only; sophomores ACT and/or SAT). Space is limited.

***PSAT results from the October 2012 exam are currently being distributed to freshmen, sophomores and juniors.***
