Andrew Moffa Named Coca-Cola Scholar

Prep senior Andrew Moffa has been selected as one of 250 finalists in the 2011-2012 Coca-Cola Scholars Program.  The award is based on outstanding leadership in school and community activities.  Initially, there were nearly 84,000 applications that were considered.

Andrew will participate in a Scholars Weekend April 12-15 in Atlanta, Georgia. The weekend will consist of seminars, tours of local landmarks, a community service project, and social gatherings, including an awards banquet. Fifty of the finalists will be chosen as National Scholars and will receive renewable awards of $5,000 a year for four years of post-secondary study.  The remaining finalists will receive four-year renewable scholarships of $2,500 per year.
