Annual Food & Wine Symposium at Princeton Bar & Grill

The Office of Institutional Advancement is hosting the fifth annual Food & Wine Symposium at the Princeton Bar & Grill in Avalon, NJ on Saturday, April 21. The evening will feature seven courses of elegant international cuisine, each paired with a wine selected by International Wine Educator, Dr. John Mahoney. The event begins with the pouring of Marques de La Tour Rose at 6:00 PM sharp. The courses and wine pairings are as follows:

Course 1: Marinated Watermelon Steak with Pink Peppercorn Rub – Casal Garcia Rose Vinho Verde

Course 2: Winter Corn Chowder with Chipotle Smoked Bacon – Educated Guess Chardonnay

Course 3: Cracked Black Pepper Orecchietti with Peas, Asparagus, Butter Lettuce, and Prosciutto – Posis Montepulciano

Course 4: Green Apple Gelatto

Course 5: Seared Sea Scallops with Lemongrass Emulsion and Basil, Mint, and Cilantro Salad – Marques de Riscal Rueda

Course 6: Coffee and Brown Sugar-Rubbed Pork Loin with Port Wine Dijon Demi-Glace – Chapoutier Cote du Rhone Rouge “Belleruche”

Course 7: Ebony and Ivory Mousse in Phyllo with Raspberry Coulis – Tomasello Red Raspberry

The $75.00 cost for the event includes the food, wine, tax, and gratuity. Seating for this event is limited. Please RSVP by April 18.
