Important Academic Announcements Regarding Third Semester and the Veritas Program

Posted October 11th, 2013

Third Semester Registration concludes on October 15 (for more information on Third Semester course offerings, and for the Registration Form, click here). Freshmen, sophomores, and juniors must register for a course by this date. Failure to register in time will negatively affect the student’s grade in the Third Semester course. As of October 25, all course registrations are final. Please check dates and costs for the course to ensure you are registering for the proper course. Students can NOT switch courses after October 25.

The Academics Office distributed this year’s Veritas book, No Turning Back by Bryan Anderson, on Thursday. The Veritas book test will be held on October 24 during F period. The grade for the book test will no longer be counted as a course grade, as previously stated. The book test is now a pass/fail grade, for which every student must receive a passing grade. If any student fails the book test, they will be required by the Academics/Student Leadership Offices to re-take the test until they receive a passing grade. Bryan Anderson will speak on October 25 at 9:45 a.m. Families and the public are welcome to join us for this powerful lecture, to be held in Rodio Gym.
