Prep Christmas Toy Donation A Success

Posted December 17th, 2021

The Prep Community has taken the North Camden school under its wing, serving its students throughout the year with engaging events and service projects.  This year, with health and safety measures in mind for both schools, the Hermit Brotherhood was represented by their dedicated Faculty, Staff, and Leadership Team.  Bro. David Graber, who has led many of the Prep’s service initiatives in Camden, was joined by Fr. Tony Burrascano, Dr. Joseph Zagarella, and Mrs. Marianne Carr in delivering this year’s donations to an excited and grateful group of Holy Name students.  These four Prep Faculty Members turned Hermit “elves” helped to make this Christmas a special one for the students and families of the Holy Name community.

Mrs. Meg Kent, Principal at Holy Name School, expressed how joyful and appreciative the teachers and students were for the generosity of the Prep Community.  In addition, the response to this year’s Giving Tree was so substantial that there were enough toys to make a second donation to the Neighborhood Center conducted by the Sisters of St. Joseph.

We thank the Campus Ministry team for leading the effort each year and making the Giving Tree a fulfilling experience for both schools!
