Prep Graduate Receives George B. Moran Award

Posted May 8th, 2012

Each year, the College of the Holy Cross identifies one student from the graduating senior class as an exemplar of service, character, and integrity, and presents this student with the George B. Moran Award. This year, the recipient of the award is St. Augustine Prep graduate Kenneth Calemmo III (Class of 2008). The Holy Cross website explains the importance of the award:

“To be considered for the George B. Moran Award, student nominees must show strong evidence of engagement in the life of the College and the Worcester community.  They are individuals of the highest character and integrity, and through their actions, have demonstrated respect for the dignity of others, fostered cooperation among members of the campus community, and have assisted others in becoming informed, responsible, and productive community members, consistent with Ignatian values.”

Congratulations, Ken!
