On Monday, March 4, St. Augustine Prep faculty member Mrs. Mary Lou Newnam will be performing with the Ed Vezhino/Jim Ward Big Band as a featured guest soloist at the Sandi Point restaurant in Somers Point. The Ed Vezhino/Jim Ward Big Band is one of top jazz outfits in the area. After accepting the invitation to perform as a soloist, Mrs. Newman requested that several of the students in her school Stage Band be allowed to perform alongside the group. Her request was accepted. BoDean Messier, Adam Watts, Gabe Angelo, Max Mentonis, and Dan Stinson (all of the Class of 2013) will be performing with Mrs. Newnam and the Ed Vezhino/Jim Ward Big Band on March 4.

The cover charge for the event, which runs from 7:00 – 10:00 p.m. on March 4, is $10.00. Dinner will be available during the performance. For information on the venue, please click here.
