Thanksgiving Day Football Game for Conference Championship

This Thanksgiving the Hermits Football team will play for the Cape-Atlantic League National Conference championship against the Cedar Creek High School Pirates at 10:00 a.m. Both teams enter the game undefeated in Conference play. The Pirates have a strong and dedicated fan base. Both teams expect a significant turnout to Thursday’s game.

There is also a potential service component to the Thanksgiving Day game. Cedar Creek High School will be collecting canned goods to deliver to those families who are still being affected by Hurricane Sandy. They have asked that we alert our families and fans to this collection so that we can contribute as well. In addition to the canned food drive, Cedar Creek will have “coin drop” buckets in the parking lot. The proceeds of this collection will go directly to the Red Cross.

We hope to see many fans out at the Thanksgiving Day Conference Championship game this Thursday at 10:00 a.m at Cedar Creek High School, 1701 New York Avenue  Egg Harbor City, NJ.
