Thanksgiving Food Drive

Posted November 6th, 2012

The Campus Ministry Department at St. Augustine Prep is organizing a Thanksgiving Food Drive to collect non-perishable food items for the South Jersey Food Bank. The plans for this food drive began before the resources of the South Jersey Food Bank were significantly depleted as a result of Hurricane Sandy. Over the past week, the Food Bank gave away over 10 million pounds of food, and is now desperately seeking to replenish those items. From Tuesday, November 6, through Friday, November 16, Campus Ministry will be collecting food donations in two large bins which will be placed outside the Main Office of the Forum and in the Scarpa building on the Prep’s campus.
