Mr. Chris Gheysens ’89 | Experiential Learning at the Prep and Beyond

Chris Gheysens, a 1989 St. Augustine Prep graduate and President & CEO of Wawa, Inc., served as the first guest speaker for the 2022-2023 Veritas Speaker Series.

Hosted as part of the school’s Innovation & Experiential Learning initiative, the high-tech presentation included live segments with a few of Wawa’s highest-ranking officials. From product research & development through the company’s strong culture based upon servant leadership, the student body was given a live backstage tour of Wawa HQ, led by the “Lead Goose” himself, all from the comfort of Rodio Gymnasium.
